Apiam Animal Health is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious veterinarian to join the team at the Echuca Moama Veterinary Clinic.
Our busy 4-5 veterinarian practice is predominantly companion animal with a small component (10%) of mixed practice work.
The practice is located in Echuca on the beautiful Murray River with a branch practice five minutes away at Moama. This is a vibrant regional centre renowned for the lifestyle and opportunities including high calibre schooling. There are excellent restaurants and cafes along with a great range of entertainment, leisure and sporting activities that is expected of a tourist town. The outdoor lifestyle is fantastic with water activities on your doorstep and only 3 hours drive to the ski fields. It is an easy two and a half hours drive to Melbourne.
Echuca Moama Veterinary Clinic is a part of Apiam Animal Health. Apiam is comprised of Australia’s leading production animal and mixed animal veterinary practices. Your new role
You will be well supported by a fun team of friendly vets and nurses. Vets at the practice have 60+ years of experience between them.
The role is predominantly small animal work however there will be the opportunity to undertake some large animal work if desired. The large animal work is a true mix of cattle, horses and small ruminants
This full time veterinarian position is based in Echuca and involves rostered rotations between the two clinics in Echuca and Moama, and a share of the one in three after-hours roster.
The practice has all of the expected equipment including full IDEXX in-house laboratory suite, digital x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, surgery suite and access to a CT scanner.

You will require:
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent degree which is registered in Australia
- Whilst we would prefer an experienced vet with well established small animal medicine and surgery skills, this position is also open to new graduate veterinarians who would like to focus predominantly on small animals whilst still maintaining exposure to large animal work. 100% Small animal veterinarians are welcome to apply.
