Dog Vaccinations

Vaccinations are a fundamental part of responsible dog ownership and are put in place to protect your pet from infectious diseases. We provide essential C5 vaccinations, which protect against dangerous illnesses including the highly contagious Canine Parvovirus. 1 The local risk of this disease was highlighted in December 2023 when a confirmed case forced the temporary closure of the Armidale Animal Shelter, reminding our community of the importance of up-to-date immunisations.

Flea and Tick Prevention

Protecting your pet from parasites is a year-round responsibility, especially in the unique environment of the New England Tablelands. Our region is a known habitat for the dangerous Paralysis Tick (Ixodes holocyclus), which can be fatal if left untreated. Warnings from Northern Tablelands Local Land Services have noted that changing weather patterns mean the risk of encountering ticks is now a year-round concern, making consistent prevention essential.
