After-Hours Vet Care with Vetriage
For peace of mind after hours, we provide our clients with access to Vetriage, our dedicated veterinary triage service. This system ensures you get the right advice quickly, without the stress of searching for a Gippsland pet emergency service when every second counts. If you have a concern about your pet outside of our normal clinic hours, simply call our usual clinic number, (03) 5623 2525, to be connected with the Vetriage team.
Your call will be answered by a qualified and experienced veterinary nurse who will assess your pet’s situation. The triage nurse can provide expert advice for non-urgent issues or, in the case of a true emergency, will determine the necessary action and contact our on-call veterinarian. This ensures your pet gets the right level of care when they need it most, and our on-call vet will be fully briefed on the situation before you arrive.
Please note: If your pet is having trouble breathing, is unresponsive, bleeding, has possibly been bitten by a snake, or has been in an accident, please call our clinic number immediately to speak with the triage nurse for urgent assistance.
