Don Crosby Veterinary Surgeons is a 6 vet mixed practice approximately 70% companion animal and 30% large animal. Dr Don Crosby has over 30 years’ experience and established this practice 18 years ago.
We require a veterinarian to work in our 6-vet mixed practice in Dubbo/Narromine.

The practice operates out of two fully equipped hospitals. Recently, the team at Dubbo Veterinary Hospital merged with Don Crosby Veterinary Surgeons to form a large busy clinic where we pride ourselves on having a good rapport with clients, customer satisfaction and going above and beyond for patient care.

The Position:

We require a veterinarian to work in our 6-vet mixed practice in Dubbo/Narromine.

    • You will work a 4 day week with a rotating weekly RDO and a shared on-call roster.
    • After a weekend on duty you will have a 4 day or a 5 day weekend off if rostering allows.
    • Phone and shared vehicle provided.
    • AVA membership and VSB registration paid.
    • Salary is in line with experience and will be well above award.

Ideally, we would like an experienced vet however this position will also suit a motivated new or recent graduate who wants to come to a large rural regional centre and be exposed to a large case load of mixed practice cases. (No pocket pets or birds!)
