About the role:
This is a parental leave position working in the Bendigo office, reporting to the General Manager of People and working in a growing People & Culture team.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Produce Letters of Offer and Employment Agreements for all new employees.
  • Setting up new employees in the Payroll and the HR systems.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and related information.
  • Effectively use HRIS systems to provide support and training to all employees.
  • Facilitate the annual salary review process.
  • Provide regular promotions to staff on the EAP and CAP programs.
  • Coach managers in the successful resolution of non complex workplace matters.
  • Resolve routine issues as they arisen and update P&C policies as required.

About you:

  • A competent user of databases and generating reports.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver training and communicate effectively.
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Committedenthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
  • Demonstrated influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality and an ability to exercise a high level of discretion.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, WHS role or a compliance based role.
  • Experience in the veterinary or animal health industries would be advantageous.
