“Enriching the lives of animals, people and communities”
As a Clinical Lead, you will work closely with the Regional Coordinator in the day-to-day running of the clinic and you will be a member of the management team responsible for the professional management of all clinical operations. Clinical operations include managing, training and supervising veterinary associates, graduates and nursing staff, as well as being hands-on in the delivery of veterinary services to patients and clients according to Apiam’s high standards of care.
North Hill Veterinary Clinic is in Armidale, the heart of the beautiful New England Tablelands region of NSW. Armidale is a large regional city located halfway between Brisbane and Sydney and has its own airport 10 minutes from the centre. It is a beautiful region with a strong cultural and heritage identity, local produce and wine regions and beautiful national parks so there is something for everyone. On your days off, there will be time to play sport, enjoy cultural activities, sample the local cuisine and wineries, explore some spectacular country, and build life-long connections in the community.
North Hill Veterinary Clinic is part of Apiam Animal Health which is comprised of Australia’s leading production animal and mixed animal veterinary practices. Our clinic has been serving the Armidale and New England region since 2004 and we pride ourselves on providing a high standard of professional treatment and care for both the patient and owner in a personal and relaxed environment. The caseload is varied and interesting – we really do see it all here! The practice is approximately 70% small animal, including companion animals, pocket pets, birds and wildlife and 30% large animal consisting of pleasure and competition horses, sheep, goats, alpacas and even the occasional camel. We are currently a 6-vet team and on call is shared with another clinic where possible.
We are looking for a self-motivated leader that is closely aligned to our purpose “Enriching the lives of Animals, People & Communities”.
