The Position:

  • This is a full-time position with a mixed case load.
  • The overall practice mix is approximately 70% companion animals, 30% large animals.
  • The mix for this role is negotiable however our preference is for a vet who is confident with large animal work whilst also helping with the companion animal roster. Ideally it would be 50% large animal and 50% companion animals.

  • The role would also require a contribution to our Saturday morning clinic roster

About You:

  • Ideally you will have 3+ years’ experience in mixed practice.
  • ACV Preg Check and BBSE accreditation is advantageous.  If you are working towards these accreditations, then we can help you achieve this.
  • Herd health and interest in feedlots is advantageous. Our team support local feedlot clients in the area with ambulatory services.
  • Orthopedic skills highly regarded.
  • Above all else, we need a genuinely motivated and enthusiastic person who, by example, values and contributes to an amazingly positive workplace culture.
  • You build rapport with people easily and you enjoy working within a supportive team.
  • You are highly organized and can work autonomously as well as collaboratively with your teams.
  • You enjoy teaching and mentoring Vets and nurses to support them in their development
