Agnes Banks Equine Clinic is a well-established and progressive equine veterinary practice that is located on the western fringe of Sydney.

About The Role:

  • Primarily hospital based incorporating, surgical nursing, assistance with lameness and pre purchase examinations, assistance with imaging (radiography, ultrasonography, nuclear scintigraphy, video endoscopy), reproductive procedures, general veterinary assistance (in hospital and on the road) and care of post-operative patients.
  • Organisation of in house laboratory, including processing samples
  • Assistance with organisation and ordering for the pharmacy, surgical equipment and general equipment.

About You:

  • Qualified Veterinary Nurse highly desirable
  • Excellent horse handling skills is essential
  • Experience in surgical nursing is preferable. 
  • Ability to assist in reception would be desirable
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
