Located in Romsey, in the heart of the Macedon Ranges, we are a mixed animal veterinary practice that offers the highest possible level of veterinary care, for all animals big and small!

The Romsey Veterinary Surgery is fully equipped to manage medical and surgical cases in the full range of companion animals, equine and livestock.

We are looking for a part time or full time experienced veterinary nurse to complement our team.

We want a passionate nurse to implement their high standards of patient care and have the capability to fulfill surgery, hospital, pathology, treatment, floating and reception shifts. 

This is a hands-on nursing role for an experienced nurse; you will need to have the skill set and confidence to place IV catheters, set up fluids, monitor anesthetics to a high standard, perform nurse consults, do basic pathology such as faecal egg counts and love all things nursing.

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary Technician Degree is essential
  • 5+ years’ experience in a busy practice. Well-rounded nursing skills and experience with training and mentoring other clinical staff
  • Registered Veterinary Nurses are highly regarded.
