Scottsdale Veterinary Services (Tasmania) is seeking a new or recent graduate veterinarian to join their friendly team.

The successful applicant can be guaranteed exposure to a range of species in a truly mixed practice. The large animal work is predominantly dairy cattle with some beef clients and a small amount of first opinion equine work.

Our practice has a fully equipped hospital with in-house bloods, digital x­-ray, dental x-rays and numerous ultrasound machines. We perform all routine small animal and large animal soft tissue surgery. Our team also undertake orthopaedic surgery and carry out laparoscopic repairs of LDAs in cattle.

The practice is located in the heart of north-east Tasmania (Australia) just one hour from Launceston. There are plenty of activities to enjoy close by such as fishing, world class mountain bike trails & golf courses, various sporting clubs and the beautiful Bridport beaches are just a 15-minute drive away.

We have a supportive team of 6 full time equivalent vets plus 3 nurses. Clinic hours are 8:30am -5:00pm Monday to Friday. We have a nine-day fortnight so you receive an RDO every fortnight. The on-call roster includes 1 in 6 weekends.
