At Deniliquin Veterinary Clinic, we have been carefully tending to our tree of vets, providing them with country sunshine, fresh rural air and enriching their foundations and growing their skills. Our vet tree has grown, developed and flourished and now one of our vets is branching off for her next challenge.
If you have 2 or more years of experience and would like to continue growing your areas of interest with our support, then we would love to hear from you.
Deniliquin Vet Clinic, in the Riverina region of NSW is a 5 vet mixed practice.
The practice has an ideal mix of large animal and small animal cases. There is extensive work catering for the needs of beef cattle and sheep clients as well as a growing equine component. The practice offers sheep and cattle animal health programs, regular beef group meetings, along with bull testing, ultrasound pregnancy diagnosis and disease investigation.
The team offers high standards of care to companion animals with a busy caseload of medicine, surgery and reproduction.
The clinic is architecturally designed, purpose-built and has all modern equipment and dedicated facilities with digital x-ray, a full IDEXX suite, numerous ultra-sounds, scopes and surgical equipment. The team takes pride in the standard of their facilities and service.
The practice is part of the Apiam Animal Health family, providing a range of continuing education opportunities and access to many vets who are leaders in their field. There is extensive professional collaboration in a variety of species. The Southern Riverina region of clinic locations provides opportunity for development of skills and special interests within a wider group.
New and recent graduates who appreciate a supportive learning environment and experienced mentors are welcome to apply.
Apiam’s Graduate Development Program offers structured support for your transition to practice, a mentor program and practical “hands-on” workshops to fast-track your skills development.
We work a 9 day fortnight (76 hours). In addition we provide a work vehicle, mobile phone, AVA membership, VSB registration, assistance with CE and support for development of special interests, paid volunteer leave and many other company perks.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet who enjoys a real mix of surgery and medicine, who enjoys living in a country town with a wide range of exceptional sporting and leisure facilities, along with the ability for a quick and easy foray to the ‘big smoke’ when required.
