Why this role
As we welcome a new Clinic Coordinator, we are looking for someone who can confidently manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the clinic. This position is focused on organisation, communication and supporting smooth workflows across a busy mixed practice environment.
The role is ideal for applicants with administrative experience, medical reception experience, veterinary or nursing backgrounds, or others who are highly organised and confident in managing people, schedules and customer service.
About the position
• Provide proactive leadership to support a positive, collaborative workplace
• Manage daily clinic operations including resourcing, scheduling, PMS use and workflow efficiency
• Oversee staff supervision, development and engagement alongside the Clinical Lead
• Promote high standards of service and a strong safety culture, supporting staff through complex client conversations
• Drive performance across customer experience, service delivery and financial outcomes, and contribute to budgeting
• Manage stock control, accounts and debtors, and ensure compliance across clinic processes
• Cascade communications and support improvement initiatives across the team
About you
We welcome applications from a wide range of backgrounds including practice managers, veterinary receptionists, vet technicians or nurses, medical receptionists and administrative professionals with strong organisational and people skills.
• Minimum three years experience in team management, rostering and customer service
• Background in practice management, business management or HR is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams
• Confident computer user with experience using MS Office programs and databases
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for supporting people
• Financial acumen including the ability to interpret sales, activity and financial reports and lead change initiatives
