Why you will love working with us
At Fraser Coast Veterinary Services, we have nurtured a genuinely friendly, collaborative clinic where people enjoy coming to work. We celebrate wins, discuss challenges openly and back each other every day.

We care about wellbeing in meaningful ways. As part of the AVA Thrive cohort, we’re invested in practical supports that help veterinary teams lead satisfying, healthy, sustainable careers.

About the clinic
We are a long‑established, well‑respected small‑animal service with a main clinic in Maryborough and a branch in Howard. You will work alongside vets with a great spread of experience and a fantastic nursing and reception team that keeps the day smooth and is wonderfully hands‑on.

We are well equipped to practice a high standard of care: digital radiography (incl. dental), ultrasound, full in‑house lab (Idexx ProCyte, Catalyst, iStat, Sedivue, Imagyst, coags), anaesthetic monitoring, Bair Hugger and Tono‑Vet.

The role

  • Companion‑animal caseload for an experienced GP vet
  • No after‑hours / no on‑call so you can truly switch off
  • 4‑day week (full‑time) with an extra day off following a rostered weekend or flexible part time shifts to suit your requirements
  • Plenty of variety: quality preventative care, dentistry, routine surgery (and more complex if you’d like), emergencies and full work‑ups—always with support close by
  • We value flexibility and work‑life balance; talk to us about what works for you

Fraser Coast lifestyle
Maryborough gives you the best of both worlds: history, nature and all the amenities you need, without city hustle and with a far more affordable cost of living. Beaches and K’Gari (Fraser Island) are right on your doorstep, and the subtropical climate serves up sunny days year‑round.
