Casual Veterinary Nurse

Eaglehawk Road & Epsom Vet Clinic are looking for a friendly and reliable veterinary receptionist to join the team on a casual basis, to help with our quickly growing workload.  This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, keeping things running smoothly, and supporting a busy clinic through practical, day-to-day admin.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate veterinary nurse to join our growing team on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

This role is ideal for a veterinary nurse who values variety in their day and is eager to be involved in all aspects of clinic operations. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in both clinical and client-facing responsibilities, including:

  • Anaesthetic and procedure preparation, monitoring and recovery
  • Monitoring and medicating hospitalised patients
  • Supporting reception and administrative duties as required

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (essential or near completion)
  • Solid understanding of veterinary nursing procedures and prior clinic experience
  • Flexibility to work a range of hours, including Saturdays
  • A mature, confident communication style when interacting with clients
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A genuine passion for animal care and commitment to high clinical standards
