Veterinarian – Warrnambool & Port Fairy

Warrnambool Veterinary Clinic are looking for an experienced veterinarian to join our large, supportive mixed practice team in Warrnambool — with the added opportunity to work in our beautiful Port Fairy satellite clinic, either a few days a week or as your primary base if you’re seeking a sole charge role with independence.

Whether you enjoy the diversity of mixed practice or prefer to focus on companion animals, we’ll tailor your caseload to suit your interests.

About Us

A leading regional hospital since 1978, we provide high-quality care across companion animals and production species, supported by clinics in Port Fairy, Koroit and Nullawarre.

Facilities include:

• Modern hospital with 5 consult rooms
• Digital radiography, ultrasound & endoscopy
• Full in-house Idexx lab
• Dedicated dentistry suite including dental radiography
• Fully equipped mobile clinic that extends our services on-farm and at community events – making care more accessible

Alongside working in our well-equipped Warrnambool hospital, you’ll have the option to:

• Split your time between Warrnambool and our Port Fairy clinic, taking on a sole charge role a few days per week
• Or base yourself primarily in Port Fairy if you enjoy autonomy with strong team support behind you

The Role

You’ll see a broad and interesting caseload including:

• Small animal medicine and surgery
• Varied mixed and production animal work, including strong dairy focus
• Opportunities to develop in dentistry, surgery, herd health or your own special interests

What you’ll bring

• A confident, collaborative approach with a passion for quality care and fostering lasting client relationships
• Experience in mixed or small animal practice
• Ability (or interest) in working sole charge in a supported environment
• A genuine desire to keep learning and developing
