Mixed Veterinarian – Scottsdale Veterinary Services

Scottsdale Veterinary Services is a truly mixed animal practice located in the beautiful North East of Tasmania, just one hour from Launceston Airport.

We are a long-standing clinic with a team of eight veterinarians, providing a full 24-hour emergency service and a genuinely mixed caseload. Approximately 45 percent of our work is large animal, predominantly dairy, with some beef cattle and first opinion equine work, alongside a busy companion animal caseload.

This opportunity is suitable for experienced veterinarians, recent graduates, or new graduates, with support tailored to your level of experience. We are open to part time or full-time arrangements.

You will be joining a large, supportive veterinary team where after hours is shared amongst the group, providing strong backup and a sustainable roster. After hours is triaged by our Vetriage team who filter calls and take deposits and is well remunerated.

Full time veterinarians enjoy a 9-day fortnight with no Saturday morning clinics.

We are fortunate to operate from a new purpose built clinic which opened in December.

The clinic is well equipped with all the usual toys and embraces technology to support efficient, high quality veterinary care. You will be part of a team that values practical medicine, teamwork and a sustainable workload.
