We are a well-established and progressive mixed practice veterinary hospital offering general veterinary services for patients in the Hunter Valley.
Our dynamic team currently consists of 7 full-time vets and 12 nurses and reception staff. There is always another vet available for a second opinion and we enjoy working together on cases.
The practice sees a great surgical caseload, providing the opportunity to develop and hone your surgical skills, with the option to undertake and learn orthopaedics if desired.
We are excited to share the continued growth of Singleton Veterinary Hospital with the addition of our Branxton clinic. This expansion strengthens our presence in the Hunter Valley and creates opportunities to work across two complementary locations. The Branxton clinic, located in the rapidly growing Huntlee Estate, supports our established Singleton hospital by broadening our client base, enhancing case variety and providing flexibility for our team. Together, the two clinics operate as one connected practice, sharing knowledge, support and resources while offering the benefits of both a well-established hospital and a modern, growing clinic environment.
Singleton Veterinary Hospital is located in the large riverside town of Singleton in the Hunter Valley. There are all the amenities you need, along with wine tasting, heritage walks and much more! The area is approximately 2 hours from Sydney and just under an hour from the Newcastle coastline.
Branxton Veterinary Hospital is located within the newly established and growing Huntlee Estate, positioned perfectly surrounded by the beautiful Hunter Valley vineyard regions. A quick 10-minute drive places you in the middle of the best wineries and restaurants the hunter has to offer. The area is approximately 1.5 hours from Sydney and 45 minutes on the Hunter expressway to the stunning Newcastle coastline.

We are looking for positive individuals who are capable of working efficiently and conscientiously within a team environment. Looking after our team members is very important to us and we pride ourselves on the support we give to recent graduates. We have extensive experience in student placement programs and have received awards related to this with Sydney University. The practice provides 24/7 support to all of our vets. In particular, we encourage recent graduates to undertake challenging medical and surgical cases with full support and assistance.
You are keen to move to a regional area and take advantage of the benefits of working in a great team and for a company that values your support and development.
