Veterinarian- Boyne Tannum Veterinary Surgery

Exciting opportunity for a companion veterinarian to join a fun and supportive team on the stunning QLD coast!

Imagine starting your morning with the ocean breeze on your face, grabbing a coffee from your favourite local café, and heading into a clinic where your team feels more like family. At Fur Life Vet Boyne Tannum, every day is a chance to make a difference—not just in the lives of animals, but in the lives of the people who love them.

Located in the beachside town of Tannum Sands, just 20 minutes from Gladstone, our clinic is surrounded by natural beauty and a supportive, close-knit community. Whether you’re into fishing, camping, diving, or 4WD adventures, this region offers the perfect balance of work and play.

Our clinic hums with purpose and positivity. The day kicks off with teamwork, a few laughs, and a shared goal: delivering top-tier care with efficiency and heart. Nurses are hands-on and highly skilled – making your day smoother and more collaborative.

From consults in our two well-equipped rooms to surgeries in our dual operating suites, the caseload is diverse and engaging. You’ll encounter everything from routine check-ups to complex surgical cases, supported by tools like ultrasound, digital x-ray, and a full Idexx pathology suite. No case is too big or too small, and our clients trust us to work up and treat locally whenever possible.

Lunch breaks are sacred, and often shared—sometimes with cupcakes, thanks to our legendary staff baking challenge. The vibe is relaxed but focused, and the team is always ready to lend a hand or share a high five after a successful procedure.
