Ormeau Vet is a brand-new small animal clinic opening May 2026 on the northern Gold Coast and we are building our founding support team.

This is a rare opportunity to join a clinic from day one and help shape how it operates, feels, and grows. The clinic has been completely refurbished with new equipment, a fresh modern vibe, and a strong focus on creating a supportive and enjoyable workplace.

We are looking for veterinary nurses who are also comfortable working on reception and enjoy being involved in all aspects of clinic life.

About the clinic

Ormeau Vet is a new venture designed with both staff and clients in mind. From opening day, the clinic will operate with modern systems, efficient workflows, and a team focused culture. As a foundation team member, you will have genuine input into how the clinic runs and how the client experience is delivered.

Located in Ormeau, the clinic services a rapidly growing community between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, offering long term career opportunities alongside a great lifestyle.

About the role

This is a dual veterinary nurse and receptionist position, ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in both patient care and client service.

Your role will include

  • Supporting veterinarians during consultations and procedures
  • Delivering high standards of patient care and animal welfare
  • Welcoming clients and managing appointments and enquiries
  • Handling phone and front desk communication
  • Contributing to the development of clinic systems, protocols, and workflows
  • Helping establish a positive, welcoming culture from the very beginning

This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands on, adaptable, and involved across the clinic.

  • You are a qualified veterinary nurse
  • You are confident communicating with clients and working on reception
  • You enjoy working as part of a close-knit team
  • You are comfortable in a new environment and enjoy contributing ideas
  • You take pride in providing a calm, friendly experience for clients and patients
