About the Position
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals for the following options:
- Veterinary Nurse (full-time or part-time)
- Receptionist (full-time or part-time)
- Hybrid Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist (full-time or part-time)
Whether your passion is hands-on nursing, client service at reception, or a blend of both, we have a place for you!
Receptionist Role Includes:
- Providing outstanding customer service over the phone and face-to-face
- Welcoming clients and their pets
- Managing appointments and liaising with clinical staff
- Maintaining a neat and tidy reception and waiting area
Veterinary Nurse Role Includes:
- Delivering high standards of patient care in surgery, hospital, pathology, and treatment
- Floating between nursing and reception shifts if desired
- Placing IV catheters, setting up fluids, monitoring anaesthetics, performing nurse consults, and basic pathology
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- For nursing roles: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary Technician Degree is highly regarded, but hands-on nursing experience is also welcome
- For receptionist roles: 2+ years of reception or customer service experience preferred; animal care knowledge is advantageous
- Well-rounded skills and a commitment to positive workplace culture
- Ability to multi-task, excellent time management, and strong communication skills
- A genuine love for helping people and animals
