Fur Life Vet Merimbula is part of Apiam Animal Health, an expanding group of regional and rural clinics committed to enriching the lives of animals, people and communities.

  • Provide outstanding customer service over the phone and face‑to‑face
  • Welcome clients and their pets to the clinic
  • Manage appointments for clinical staff
  • Liaise with vets and vet nurses to ensure efficient daily scheduling
  • Process invoices and payments
  • Maintain a neat and tidy reception and waiting area
  • Sell products and services which benefit clients and their pets
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer service role (essential)
  • Full time or part time availability (flexible hours/days)
  • Vet clinic or animal care industry knowledge is advantageous but not essential—an affinity for animals and their care matters most as well as the drive and enthusiasm to embrace learning the new role
  • A genuine passion for helping clients, with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a mature approach for tricky conversations
  • Able to multi‑task with excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Competent with computers, EFTPOS and basic banking
  • Comfortable working independently and contributing to a positive team environment
